This policy explains what data Glowdly collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

The short version

We collect your face photo and scan data to generate your results and track your progress.
Your photo is stored securely on our servers until you delete it or our retention rule applies.
We never sell your face data.
You can delete your photo and data any time.
Glowdly is for people 18 and over.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

Account and contact data: email, name (optional), and sign-in details.
Face photos and scan results: the photo you submit, and the scores, findings and routine we generate from it.
Profile answers: gender preference, skin goals and skin type, if you provide them.
Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, device type, app version, approximate location from IP address.
Payment data: handled by STRIPE / APP STORES / REVENUECAT. We receive your plan status, not your full card number.
Waitlist and marketing data: email, platform, and consent records.
Support messages you send us.

3. Face photos and biometric data notice

This section explains how we handle your face photo and any data derived from it. It is the section your scan consent points to.

What we do: We analyze your photo to estimate skin and grooming scores. CONFIRM and edit: We do / do not create a face template, faceprint or other identifier, and we do / do not use your photo to identify you or match you to anyone else.
Why we need your consent: Some laws treat face scans as biometric data. We ask for your explicit consent before we process your photo.
Who processes it: AI PROVIDER NAME processes your photo for us under terms. Their retention: X. STORAGE PROVIDER stores it.
We don't sell, rent or trade your face data, and we don't use it for advertising. CONFIRM
Model training: We do / do not use your photos to train or improve AI models. DECIDE. Default recommendation: do not, unless users opt in separately.
Retention: e.g., web-scan photos without an account are deleted after 30 days. Account photos are kept until you delete them or close your account, then deleted within 30 days. DECIDE
Deletion: You can delete your photos and all data derived from them any time from the app or glowdly.com/delete-my-data.

4. How we use data

To generate scores and routines, match products, track progress, run your account and payments, send service emails, send marketing only if you opted in, prevent abuse and fraud, improve the product using aggregated or de-identified data, and meet legal duties.

We share data only with processors who help us operate the service: AI analysis provider, cloud hosting and storage, email provider, analytics, payment and subscription providers, customer support tools, and legal or regulatory authorities where required.

We do not sell personal data. CONFIRM against your analytics and ad tools. Ad pixels can count as "sharing" under some laws.

6. Affiliate links and product partners

If you click a product link, the retailer may receive information such as your browser and the page you came from. We don't share your face photo or scan scores with retailers. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

8. Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, delete, export your data, withdraw consent, and opt out of marketing. Email [email protected] or use Delete My Data. We respond within 30 days.

9. Regional rights

LAWYER TO DRAFT. Sub-sections for EU/UK (legal bases, explicit consent for special category data, right to complain to your regulator, international transfers), California (rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit use of sensitive data), and Illinois, Texas, Washington and other states with biometric rules.

10. Age limit

Glowdly is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has used Glowdly, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure. CONFIRM each claim.

12. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to understand how the site is used and to improve it. You can accept or reject analytics via the cookie banner. Link to cookie settings panel once built. Consent banner is required in the EU/UK and recommended elsewhere.

13. International transfers

Your data may be processed in COUNTRIES using safeguards.

14. Changes

If we make material changes, we'll notify you and, where required, ask for consent again.
